New SynField installations in Italy!

The SynField wins over Italian farmers. Two SynField smart agriculture systems have been installed in an olive grove and in a vineyard in Italy. Each system consists of a SynField X3 head node, a weather station which records climatic conditions (air temperature, relative humidity, wind intensity and direction, rainfall height), and a a temperature and soil moisture sensor. SynField is able to collect environmental and soil data in real time, offering valuable information to growers. The data received by the sensors are periodically sent to the SynField web platform, where the users can monitor remotely the conditions prevailing in the area, whenever they want, from wherever they are.

The first SynField smart agriculture system was installed in a large olive grove in the province of Forli-Cesena, while the second system was installed in a vineyard in the Emilia-Romagna region in northeastern Italy, where the Sangiovese and Trebbiano varieties are grown.

SynField smart farming systems have already been installed in many European countries such as Spain, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Greece, and Serbia, while more installations are expected to be conducted in the near future. The SynField network is constantly expanding, both in Europe and Africa.
