New SynField installation at Nea Fyteia (Greece)

Mini network of SynField X1 nodes to maximize the quality of table grapes, while saving 30% of the irrigation water.

The new installation in Nea Fyteia (Kiato, Greece) consists of three SynField X1 nodes: two nodes control latching solenoid valves of 3 inches, while the third node drives two METER Environment EC-5 soil moisture sensors measuring the need for irrigation.

The installation is directly controled by the SynField cloud platform, allowing manual, semi-automated or automated irrigation rules to be applied based on the soil moisture and the irrigation plan. To maximize installation flexibility and reliability, the SynField X1 nodes are directly connected to the platform using GPRS links.
