New SynField Installation at Tea Plantations in Kerala, India

Synelixis Solutions, in collaboration with TATA Advanced Systems, has installed a mini network of SynField systems in tea plantations of Kanan Devan Hills Plantations (KDHP) in Munnar, Kerala, India.

The SynField platform provides environmental, leaf and soil monitoring data of the tea plantation assisting KDHP in crop diseases prediction. With seven extensive tea gardens covering an area of 24,000 Hectares, 16 tea manufacturing units with an annual production of 22 Million Kilograms of tea and close to 12,000 employees, Kanan Devan Hills Plantations Company (KDHP) Ltd is today the largest in South India.
