The second GAIA training workshop was held this past Friday, the 28th of April, at the CTI premises in Athens. The purpose of the workshop was as before in Patras (see relevant post here) to inform the teachers of the local participating schools on the educational activities to be launched and on the use of the project application prototypes.
GAIA aims at creating an innovative ICT ecosystem tailored specifically for school environments, taking into account both the users and buildings that will motivate and support citizens’ behavioural change to achieve greater energy efficiency. The GAIA project focuses on the educational community; faculty, staff, students and parents at all levels of education: primary/secondary/high schools and universities.
Trials are expected to begin in the following weeks.
